Sip and Snart

Presented by Escargatcha and Bambina Wine Society

Join us for an evening of animal and art therapy. Participants will start the evening with a brief presentation on sustainability and the SNART process along with a curated wine education and tasting. Then everyone will be equipped with paint supplies so they too can experience the joy and silliness of painting with snails. Participants paint at their own pace, filling in pre-made snail trails to create unique watercolor pieces. Finished canvases can be taken home or left with the lead artist for optional commissioned enhancements (additional fee).

Petra Solarik is a local Seattle Artist whose pieces reflect her background in conservation biology while encouraging a child-like wonder for the natural world. Through Escargotcha, she has found opportunities to share her love for the creative process and encourage guests to challenge assumptions about both their own and other’s abilities.

Lauren Matney is a wine specialist and educator based in Seattle, Washington. She founded, Bambina Wine Society to gather loved ones together and to create curiosity around wine. She guides students to build a vocabulary around the unique aromas and flavors of wine and creates a memorable and interactive wine tasting experience. She will provide and guide the group through a wine experience.
